Helping students reach their full potential

Occupational therapy at private schools and daycares.

I collaborate with private schools, preschools and daycares in Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, Cumming, Woodstock and Canton to support children's learning, independence and confidence. No pulling them out early for appointments, and therapy happens right where the skills are needed.

Why school & daycare

Help with the skills the classroom asks for.

Cutting with scissors, holding a pencil, sitting through circle time, lining up, opening a lunchbox, handling a noisy classroom: school and daycare ask a lot of young children. Seeing your child in that setting shows me what's really getting in the way, and lets us practice in the moment.

With the school's or center's permission, I visit during the day, work with your child one-on-one or within their routine, and share simple strategies with teachers so support continues between visits.

  • Fewer missed school hours and no extra drive
  • Strategies teachers can actually use
  • Updates for parents after visits
  • Works alongside any school-provided services
  • 15+ years of experience with children, families and schools

Good to know

How private OT works with school services

I work with private schools, preschools and daycares. Public schools provide their own occupational therapy through an IEP or 504 plan when a need affects a child's education, and they don't usually allow outside therapists during the school day. If your child attends a public school, I can see them at home instead, and many families use both.

Every school and daycare has its own policy on outside providers. I'll help you check with the director or principal before the first visit. Read how getting started works.
