Comfort with sounds, textures, movement and busy places.

Fine motor & handwriting

Grasp, cutting, buttons, drawing and writing.

Gross motor skills

Balance, strength and confidence on the playground.

Good to know

Common questions from parents.

Don't see your question? See how getting started works or give me a call.

Where do therapy sessions happen?

Wherever your child's day happens: your home, their private school, or their daycare or preschool. I travel to families in Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, Cumming, Woodstock and Canton, Georgia. There's no clinic waiting room and no drive across town.

Who provides the therapy?

Every session is with me, Amy Reynolds, MS, OTR/L, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with 15+ years of experience with children, families and schools. You work with the same therapist from the first call onward.

Do you take insurance?

Next Step Therapy Barn is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. That keeps the focus on your child's goals rather than authorization rules and visit caps. Reach out and I'll share current rates.

Do we need a doctor's referral?

Call me first and I'll talk through your child's situation and what's needed to get started, including whether a physician's order is required for your situation.

What ages do you work with?

Next Step Therapy Barn works with children from toddlers through school age. If you're unsure whether OT is the right fit, a quick call is the easiest way to find out.

Will parents be involved?

Yes. Family partnership is central to pediatric OT. You'll get practical strategies to use between visits, so progress carries over into everyday routines.
